Hey guys, We have a sump pump and also a battery operated sump pump in the same hole. The battery pump we have is a Zoeller Aqua-Not Series 585. Along with that we have the Aqua-Not Pro-Eye battery(model number 10-0761). We are on about our 4th battery or so and as you know they are expensive. I was wondering why if I can hook up a regular car battery and hook the battery to a trickle charge. Would that still work or do I have to have the battery that is recommended(but expensive)?
