Leak at shower arm. Pipe broke off in the drop ell 997A1844-E5DA-441E-B655-DC352BB6F027.jpeg inside the wall
I used a small flat screwdriver and a hammer to peel it out.

Clearly they should have called you, @Twowaxhack a lot sooner than they did. That leak has been going on for some time. My guess is their negligence in putting off a problem is going to co$t them.
Surprised there wasn't a ton of goopy caulk around the thing...

And in case you didn't notice, that lavatory faucet doesn't look much better. Right out of the 1980s...

I agree. the drywall is toast and will need to be replaced anyway, so why the delicate surgery to remove the bad thread of the shower arm?

The entire job took 15 minutes. I call those a “ hit and run “ job. $150 and I’m gone 🤡

I didn’t want to disturb the wall.

Its basically like I found it except there’s not a leak now. I didn’t have to clean up anything. They’ll have to call someone to repair the wall.

Lavatory faucet works perfect. I rebuilt it a few years ago.

They’ll probably leave a hole in the wall. It’s a rental and they want the occupants to LEAVE. 🤣

I’ve been reading on another forum and Geez there are some idiots out there 🤣

Code book thumping keyboard commandos with zero working experience. What a joke 🤡

I looked everywhere for a 3/4” pvc to expansion pex adapter and found these to be the best price at Zoro.com

a little over $5.00 each. Order enough and they ship free. Sign up for email alerts and get 10% off. After your first purchase they send a coupon for 20% off.

These are over $11 at Home Depot.

Just ordered some electrical supplies from those guys. They were a few $'s more than another on-line company but had good customer service and, like you said, free shipping.

There wouldn’t be any question about who’s the boss if I wore that.🤣

I had a hose clamp on this hose end repair. It would cut into my lovely wife’s hand.

So I used my new Milwaukee pex expander and a piece of 3/4” pex and made an expansion ring out of it.

No more hand damage, it’s been holding 90 psi for a couple days. 5C520EF6-D9EA-46C9-923F-1EEE0615399D.jpeg

If you had a Helper that you told to go turn the gas meter off and he came back and said “ I didn’t know which one to turn off so Iturned them all off “ what would you do ?

What's your shirt size?
Extra large but I want it to fit tight, and I’m going to grow a mustache sideburns.

Wear it to meet my kids teachers next year. I might pick up some gold jewelry too
