    Faucet Supply Line Question

That's what I did. The person that answered was emailing with technical. I had to direct the person on the questions to ask. I finally got that !/2" FIPS would work but the answer wasn't totally reassuring if you know what I mean. Still, the sharkbite fitting worked fine. Just weird that...

    Faucet Supply Line Question

Thanks Tom. I called the mfr and asked them. They couldn't tell me what the verbage meant either. So, I threaded on a !/2" IPS sharkbite with teflon tape and pipe dope. No leaks. Good to go.

    Faucet Connector Help

I'm putting a faucet in my campervan. The kitchen faucet that I purchased https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00X0LKYV6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 only has one inlet with 1/2" threads. It came with a short braided connector. The connector easily screws onto the faucet and...

    Vent Stack distance from Tub

Thanks Phishfood! I installed the drain first then a couple of weeks later, the supply lines. I then realized that my drain installation didn't need that many bends. I'll rework it like you said after I finish the sinks and shower.

    Vent Stack distance from Tub

Somehow I seem to have misled you guys. The drain is for a clawfoot tub. I have a separate 2" drain with it's own 1.5" vent for the shower. I've attached 3 photos. You are standing on the first floor looking up through a hole I cut in the ceiling to access the plumbing on the second floor...

    Vent Stack distance from Tub

Happy Holidays to all. I moved my bathtub so that I can put in a separate shower. This is a clawfoot tub with a 1.375" diameter drain. Our Idaho code requires 3'6" for this horizontal distance between the vent and the tub. This is 1.5" drain pipe & 1.5" vent pipe, all per code. (for...

Vent Stack or Vac System Exhaust???

A central vac system was never installed. That's why I tried my shop vac on blow but couldn't get any feel of air up on the roof. Most of the air from the vac seemed to go inside the house. And yes, the valley is why the roofers want to move it. They installed the flashing as shown but...

Vent Stack or Vac System Exhaust???

First post. Here goes. The roofers need to change the location of a pipe penetration through my roof. I THINK I can simply cut it off in the attic as I THINK it is just for a central vac exhaust. My question: Is this a plumbing vent stack or a central vac vent? The pipe is EXACTLY 2" OD...
