I realize this is an HVAC question, but hopefully someone can help. I ordered a replacement motor for the zone damper in the attached pictures. I appears I will have to remove the damper from the duct in order to replace the motor. I took two screws out and I don't know what to do next...

Well, I took off the tank...again....and learned that I had installed the gasket and seal between the tank and bowl just plain wrong. Would like to blame the golf club (the Kohler instructions) but I guess I will have to blame me. So yep water can run from the bowl to the tank even if the flap...
