I have begun to notice that when my clothes washer is in it's spinning cycle, my bathroom toilet water begins to swirl around and make noises:eek: The toilet is not far from the washer, if that makes any difference...

Any help on identifying the problem would be great, as well as any suggestions to fix it.....

Thanks!!!!

It's either blockage in your sewer or vent, or it is improperly vented.

Very difficult to diagnose over the interwebs. If you can give pictures of the piping or more info it may be helpful.

Welcome! Reeds right we need pics.

As a washing machine begins its spin cycle, it is actively pumping water from the tub. If this is when you see action in your toilet bowl, as others have replied, you have somewhat of a blockage in your sewer line connecting to the washer. Once you get that line snaked, I would recommend a stainless steel sock be added to your discharge line, and check it regularly.
