Hello, I live waay out in the country, my field is only 3 small legs, built 1979, it's too small I'm sure. I have had my tank pumped 2 times in as many months.
Here is my question: my house, therefore my field, is on top of a hill in the mountains. Can I just put in an emergency overflow drain coming from my distribution box? The overflow would simply run off down the mountain towards No one and nothing, no Creek, only acres of woods. Yes, this is not to code, but I can't afford anything else.

This is a BIG NO-N0!

If there is no fear of being caught and no chance(s) of harmful pollution to neighbors... ...but it is STILL WRONG!

Maybe dig a septic pit? Check state/local codes.
