Took out my old tub .installed walk in shower with new delta shower only valve. (Delta Faucet R10000-UNBXHF MultiChoice Universal Shower Valve Body for Shower Faucet)now i have a very small trickle of cold water. i took the cartridge out and tested to see if i had water coming thru the valve body ..only hot water .cold water line is same line for toilet and sink. both toilet and sink have pressure. I have good pressure on the hot side. It is the valve body without the screw in stops.HELP!

First, never do shower valves without integral stops.
second, never close up without fully testing the valve.
Probably, you have a defective R10000.

breplum, your response was total mind reading, I would have written the same thing.

I might have added, I always blow through the hot and cold intake while operating the valve, when I take it out of the box.

I even do this in the store, like with check valves, etc.

Hopefully no one is watching, to see how nutty I am!

Could be you plugged the cartridge when you disturbed the system. Did you blow out the piping before you installed the cartridge? Those valves come with a plug to test before the cartridge goes in.
