Laundry trap seal primer line

Hi, I want to replace the brass 2 handle laundry faucet with a single handle. My faucet has a line the runs under the concrete to the floor drain (trap seal primer). There are no faucets that include a connection for the trap line. Do I need a trap seal primer to attach to the water line or can I remove altogether and use a waterless trap seal directly in the floor drain?

Just remove it and prime the trap with a bucket of water when your down there

Thanks for tips. I found a trap primer tailpiece that should do the job…
