I have one of the standard delta shower faucets with the clear round handle. When you turn the faucet to the left it will gradually get warmer however water flow will completely stop at about half way. If I continue turning to the left water flow begins again from cold to hot. The water flow is very light. Other showers in the house have normal water flow. The home was built in 1999 and this appears to be the original faucet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Old style delta shower valve have a ball inside them. they mad 2 different types of balls.
Simple to repair IF you know how. Not so simple if you don't.

You have a Delta pressure balanced faucet. Contact Delta faucets and they will send you a new cartridge to replace the bad one that you have.
