    A question about toilets

    Is it okay to clamp a plastic toilet water supply hose shut? The shutoff valve is old and doesn't close all the way, so I was wondering if I could just clamp the supply hose shut to install something above the hose. I don't know if the hose would break in a clamp, and couldn't find anything...

    Washing machine hose below floor level

    Hi everyone, I re-arranging my kitchen and would like to install the washing machine with the following setup. I will cut a trench in the concrete below the wooden floor to fit the hose. Do you think that would work? Thanks for your help and advice :)

    No water coming out of outside hose faucet!
