    Sink drainage

Is this going to be a problem? Looking at the height of the drain level compared to where the drainage coming out of the disposal.

    Air admittance valve vs. venting

No ice maker at the island, just running the water line from the sink at the island to the refrigerator.

    Air admittance valve vs. venting

They are by permit. I have been told that long term vents are more reliable. Still a little undecided

    Air admittance valve vs. venting

Just an FYI I ended up cutting the slab to run electrical and water for the ice maker. The question was really to make an informed decision because I have seen pros and cons for each. I appreciate all of your thoughts and views.

    Air admittance valve vs. venting

@frodo, I guess my question is. If I go the route of venting it the way you describe, does the 1-1/2” vent line need to have any sort of fall to it? Also, your answer was helpful also, those numbers really helped

    Air admittance valve vs. venting

So from the drawing, is that an 1-1/2 pipe or fall for the vent pipe? ( I am assuming pipe since 1-1/2 fall seems extreme)

    Air admittance valve vs. venting

I am installing an a stand alone island and need to reroute the ventilation for sink and dishwasher. I can either A. Put in an air admittance valve under the sink B. Run the ventilation under the slab and up through another wall about 9’ away thoughts on the best option?

    Kitchen water supply line

After a long search of the house, there is not a shut off at the house. I had to shut it off at the street.

    Kitchen water supply line

@Diehard that would bb because my picture did not post. Let’s try this again.

    Kitchen water supply line

Okay so, one hot and cold run towards the front of the house, the other runs to the backyard (possibly feeding the outside faucet?). The only shutoff I found is at the street. No other shutoffs around the house (I find that odd). Anyway I am not going to permanently cap anything off just trying...

    Kitchen water supply line

I think that would be the line for the whole house and if it’s not, I don’t know where it’s coming from. I am going to do some testing tomorrow to try and figure it out. I appreciate your thoughts.

    Kitchen water supply line

That is it exactly. I guess my question now would be, do I need both or should I just cap one off?

    Kitchen water supply line

Thank you Rickyman. I am assuming this is normal. as for the ice maker, there was a separate line coming from the shutoff at the faucet routing to the ice maker. I am just trying to troubleshoot before I move forward
