RMD is Required Minimum Distribution, the FED gov MAKES retirees pull a certain % of their $$$ out of retirement accounts, each year, to tax them on it, if enough $$$'s to make it taxable...... just another way the gov steals $$$'s from the little guy......

and THAT should be a "big enough" job, for any plumber.... btw, if any plumber ever told me that, I would mark them off my list of "will ever be hired by me" professionals.....

just FYI, in my area, N. FLA, Kroil was HARD to find !!! I ended up buying from zoro.com, and they shipped it, $25 or so for a small spray can.....$$$, but it is VERY effective !!!! I used to tout PB Blaster, which IS good, but Kroil is better, for penetrating threads.....

pex, coming up out of the concrete with no kind of wrapping / abrasion protection ??? is that the issue ??? DIY'er here, not a pro..... but that DONT LOOK RITE.... ha ha ha

EVERYONE is right, CUT OFF THE PIECE OF THE PIPE, beyond the coupler, take it to a GOOD plumbing store, they will sell you what you need......
