Woundering what this pipe was connecting to

I have recently been trying to get a plumbing system set up to a small house/shed I was wondering if anyone here knew what this was connected to and if I could use it in some way

Not a clue unless there is a mate somewhere on the other side of the paved area, even could be stubbed out in the ground, like for some future irrigation or lighting conduit.

Pull on it and see if it comes out. Could simply be a prank like some friendly shipmates of mine when I was in the Navy left a couple of additional rod bolts in the box that I used to hold the parts of my engine rebuild. They let me tear the oil pan off the motor only to find that I had been pranked.
