Which fitting for Pex connection based on this picture?

Hi,

I want to replace the copper pipe with Pex.

1) Should I be changing this fitting (circled) to one that can connect the Pex (so that I don't have to weld)?

2) And if so, which fitting should I use (how it is called)?

3/4" FIP to PEX. You should read and comprehend full installation manual for PEX before going any further.
