I have fried it in oil or baked it.

I don't have a recipe. I kind of wing it most of the time.
If the fish is frozen you can thaw it in a Ziploc bag in water

    1 cup of flower
1 or 2 table spoon of turmeric.
mix it in a Ziploc bag.

pat dry the fish with a towel
    put in bag with flower/turmeric.
shake it. You will have just a light coating of flour/turmeric
    fry it.

I use just enough oil to cover bottom of pan.
You want it to sizzle when you drop in the fish,
Turmeric will give it I really nice golden cooler and will cut the fishiness a bit.

Thanks Mr_David! Before I read your reply I ended up following the instructions on the steamer bag. I let my mother add the seasoning-- she added garlic salt and "real lemon" liquid to it. Instructions said how long to cook it for in the microwave and it seems to have turned out ok. I heated up some green beans with almonds for her side dish. It was the only one we had in the freezer and she really liked it so now I have to hope they still carry it in the store because she really liked it.

voletl, you might want to post in this thread https://www.plumbingforums.com/thre...-to-xenforo-s-w-questions-and-comments.12956/ to discuss concerns/problems with the forum. It is more likely to be seen there.

Things are pretty boring around here. We still haven't found the owners of the lost dog and my brother wants to keep her. It's been raining a lot so it's still flooded and my phone line is still not fixed. It's actually gotten worse now.

In happier news, my friend proposed to his girlfriend and she accepted. There was a funny moment where she asked me if I would help her plan her wedding (I hate weddings). Before I could express my hatred of weddings, my friend interjected with "If you need plumbing for a wedding she'll be on board, otherwise, it's not her thing." LOL.

I've heard, but have not confirmed, that putting pressure on the "daith" part of the ear is supposed to help relieve migraines. I haven't tried it yet. I've been fortunate to not have had migraines for awhile.
I hope you feel better and that it is nothing serious.

I've been sick as well. been hacking up the green goo. Got the goo under control but now it's just a dry cough.
Got that nasty tickle in the throat. You want to cram a long stick down your throat to scratch it.
Like that itch on your back you can't reach.
Good thing is I don't have a fever, a sore throat. I just have to take slow easy breaths so as not to activate the tickle that make me cough.

Ugh. I know the feeling-- that obnoxious tickle in the throat. Sometimes when I have mucus buildup I wish I could borrow one of the suction tools from a dentist and just vacuum out all of the goo.

I've got mild stuffy / runny nose but am still doing ok. I'm hoping I won't get sick again anytime soon.

I hope you guys feel better soon.

My brother just informed me that his boss put in 2-weeks notice to quit. The boss brought his mother (who is very ill) home to take care of her. His girlfriend was looking after her and doing pretty good at taking care of her until he got power of attorney from his mother, sold off all of her properties, & now has over $1million. His girlfriend (who talked him in to screwing over his employees and defrauding Pizza Hut on his hours) has been spending the $ like crazy and now that they have the woman's money, she has no interest in taking care of her. She just wants to spend the $ so the boss is quitting his job to take care of his mother full-time. His gf is a complete scumbag. She steals from her own children, ripped off her employees, but her boyfriend's property up for collateral on her own debts, & her restaurant failed bc she doesn't know how to run a business & refused to pay her employees (although she bragged on FB about how well she paid them while trash-talking the employees from Pizza Hut who were having to wash dishes from HER restaurant & make do without some of the supplies that she had her boyfriend steal from Pizza Hut). I wish I had proof & that the police would actually care bc she belongs in jail.

My oldest cat is starting to have mobility issues. He has trouble climbing and gets tired while walking, yowling, eating, or drinking and just lies down. He was yowling at my brother's door to get in and flopped down because he was exhausted. I carried him to my brother so my brother could hold him. He loves being held and cuddled so he was happy. But the last couple of days he's had trouble getting down from furniture or even going over small gaps. But he seems in good spirits. Taking him to the vet would make things worse because he gets so frightened that last time I brought him in he had a full on panic attack that caused a seizure. I just hope he'll make it through the rest of the year and won't be in pain. For now, I've set up an antifatigue mat with an area rug on top of it (because he likes the texture of the rug) next to his waterer so he can lounge in his favorite spot.

Call the state council on the elderly. They will investigate this idiot. All you have to tell them you are reporting this as anonymous.

I have niece who got a hold of my mothers cc and jacked up 2k on it. Used some lame excuse like she thought she was using one of her cards.

I’m heading for Phoenix to see my brother. He’s dying. Has a tumor around his esophagus that’s choking him. Heavy smoker and poor health. He was dealt a bad hand many years ago. Pray he doesn’t suffer if you’re into praying.

Damn I'm sorry to hear about your brother Dave. My thoughts are with you and your family :(

Today, I fired a hand gun for the first time! Which is probably no big deal to you guys, but it had been over a decade since I have even shot a rifle. Me and my dad went to the range today and had a blast (pun intended). Definately gonna go again.

I hope your niece pays it off or gets in trouble for theft/fraud.

I'm so sorry to hear about your brother. I hope he won't suffer long.

My cat took a turn for the worse. Not eating, not drinking, and now he can't even sit up. Vet is closed on weekends and they never answer the "emergency" line. So, I'm doing my best to keep him comfortable. I gave him a sedative to prevent seizures and help him relax (another cat has meds to prevent seizures). If he lives to Monday I'll ask the vet to make a house call. He seems to have gone blind-- pupils are fully dilated so his irises are not visible & he shows no response to light or movement. I'm making sure to keep physical contact with him so he can feel that I'm here and I talk to him from time to time.

When I was cooking dinner for my mother I set up the cordless phones like a baby monitor so I could hear him if he cried out. When I was getting the pasta out of the pot he started crying for me. I was talking to him soothingly through the phone & ran to see him as quickly as possible. When I got in the room he was hugging the phone. I moved it aside and started petting him and soothing him. He's sleeping for now. At one point when he was crying out and I was trying to comfort him, the dog realized I was upset and climbed on me to comfort me.

The upside is that my mother really liked dinner. I finally got the butter sauce right.

Update: My cat died in my arms at 5:33AM. Since it's still dark and there's a thunderstorm outside, I had to wrap him up and put him in the freezer until we can bury him.
