I have 3 zones in the backyard and is tied into the house plumbing, vs the front yard seems to have a direct water supply before it goes into the house. I have a water softener with copper pipes, when the backyard irrigation goes on one zone is noticeably low and after 7 minutes it almost stops completely. When the softener is placed into bypass, the sprinklers go full steam ahead.
As for the rest of the house and front yard irrigation, it doesn't seem really affected.

So, what is it in the softener that is slowing this down? I've opened up the brine tank to see if the top or bottom basket screens are clogged but they are clear. I replaced 3 O-rings which looked like it was breaking down. After reassembly, the water flow seemed to go back to normal, but about 3 days later it's back to the slow flow again.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
