2 years ago i bought my home. During those 2 years i noticed my sump pump never ran, even after some heavy-duty storms. I looked into the crock pit and noticed a break or crack in the side of the crock towards the bottom of the base. I filled a 5 gallon bucket full of water and watched what happened. The float slowly went down. I'm assuming the water is flowing through the hole. This cant be good ,can it?
