Mar 10, 2017 #5 The carbon will take out the chlorine if the water passes through it slow enough. The Chlorimine or the other half of chlorimine which is ammonia will have to be removed by another media. I don't think it comes in inline filters.

Instead of using elbows I just bend PEX to improve water flow. Thanks to SHEPLMBR, I eliminated one extra valve (the left one). There is a very slight loss of flow before and after filter install, but besides that filter works great! Full size image: https://ibb.co/izyaka
