Hello everyone,

I'm planning to install water filter and need your comments about my schema. Specifically: suggestions for better flow and bypass schema.

Piping: PEX (after meter)

Thanks

Your drawing will work. But I think that top most valve is not necessary as you have them before and after filter anyway.

The carbon will take out the chlorine if the water passes through it slow enough. The Chlorimine or the other half of chlorimine which is ammonia will have to be removed by another media. I don't think it comes in inline filters.

I actually ended up advancing my original schema.
Instead of using elbows I just bend PEX to improve water flow.

Thanks to SHEPLMBR, I eliminated one extra valve (the left one).

There is a very slight loss of flow before and after filter install, but besides that filter works great!
