I have a problem that occurred abruptly. Water pressure was normal in home most of the day. About 6:00 in the evening, I turned on the faucet in the kitchen sink. Water pressure was very low. Checked the pressure just after the water meter and it is normal. Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks,

If its just at the sink, take the aerator off and turn the water on. If pressure is still low, check to see if its just the hot side or just the cold side, or both. This helps to narrow down the problem. If single handle faucet, could be trash in the cartridge. I've even had to trace these down to the cutoff under the sink. If pipes are galvanized, could be a bigger problem.

I've had that problem with the pullout spray faucets. There's no pressure in those when there brand new. The inside of hose is about a 1/16 th in diameter.
