Hello, I just installed a Gerber utility faucet to replace a 20 year-old Homewerks one. It works fine, doesn't leak etc., but I keep worrying that I did something wrong and will have a problem in the future.
In the photo, I show the part that came with the new faucet that I DID NOT use in my installation. The only thing I actually used from Gerber was the faucet. The connecting lines, nut and male adapter are all from the faucet I replaced. I keep thinking that I did something wrong by NOT using the part in the photo, But I couldn't understand how it could be used with the existing setup.
Can someone explain what I did right or wrong?
Thank you.
Richard
