1) Just comparing lowes / home depot water heaters. So Rheem vs AO Smith. Just standard electric 50 gallon tanks. No bells and whistles.
Just wondering which would be the better choice, or it really doesn't matter. Kinda leaning toward the Rheem.
2) once you buy one, do you need to transport standing up ? Or can they be on thier side ? How fragile are these things ?
I know they will load me up, but getting back to the ground ... sliding it off the tailgate seems like it would not be a good idea.
My 24 year old maytag isn't dead yet, just getting my head in the correct mindset for when I do replace it.
