I am trying to add shower to my existing built in tub, not a claw foot tub. Tub has tile all around with the faucet located on the long side of the tub. Plan is to buy one of the mount to the ceiling surrond type shower curtains and standard shower head. Problem is how can I hookup to the existing faucet, I can not get to the bottom of the faucet without tearing up the tile. My thought is to hookup to the faucet using the outlet where the aerator screws in (15/16"-27 tpi female thread on faucet) with a outlet on the side for 1/2"npt for shower head and a valve below this to control flow to either the shower head or the tub. Anyone know of such a fitting, or a different way to do this? Will appreciate any help you can give.
Thanks
