Hey guys I'm in the beginning of converting a tub to shower in a slap house( my moms) my question is . Does the whole shower need wet board for the moister. Or only the wall near the shower?

What are you doing with the drain? I see a lot of tub to shower conversion where they cheat on the drain. Showers require a 2" drain.

Often see a 2" drain with a 2" P-TRAP connected to the existing 1-1/2" trap arm.
Most of time they don't want to do the work needed to make it right.
