A few years back, had sewer line back up into basement.
Local Plumbing Company cleaned out the drain, and then did video of main drain line.
My main drain is Cast Iron, and reportedly in good shape, no cracks or rotting.
*County* section of main drain line is clay pipe and tree roots were coming in at joints.
Today, just came across advertising for "Tree Root Killer".
No backups yet, but I expect it to happen again, rust never sleeps, neither do tree roots.
Looking for feedback, does any of this root killer work to (temporarily) kill off tree roots in drain line?
