Hi, all

My toilet flushes slow and I'm hoping you can help.

Here's what I know:

* There is no vent.
* The pitch of the pipes under the house is fine.
* When you remove the toilet and pour water into the line, it goes down fine.
* The bathroom also has a shower and sink, both of which drain fine.

I believe the problem is a lack of a vent. What option is best to install one? Is it putting one through the wall, or is it an Air Induction Valve (AIV)? Is there any other option?

Access to the line underneath the toilet is difficult due to obstructions.

I appreciate your help.

Thanks.

Guessing that the problem is in the toilet or the drain line, and not lack of a vent. First sign of a vent problem is bubbling when the fixture is used. Not hard to recognise.
