Present Toilet has to be going on 8 yrs in Use.. Starting to Act like there's something slowing down the Flush Process ?? Most times now it will take 2 Flushes to Rid the Bowl of its Contents ?? We are a Rural Setting so it's Well & Septic, Tank was Drained last year (5 Yr Intervals)... Pale of Hot Water goes down like 110KPH on the Highway.. Don't know if problem could be the Flushing Mechanism ?? Thoughts Appreciated, Cheers Thanks

If pouring water in the bowl goes down as it should, but using the flush mechanism doesn't, suggests that there may be an obstruction between the tank and bowl, or possibly the water level in the tank is set too low. Third possibility is that the flapper is not staying up long enough, and needs to be replaced. If you hold the flush handle down does the toilet clear the contents?

@jeffmattero76 .... Had been told quit sometime ago and previous to this latest issue, when Flushing and particular Solids to hold the Handle down until the Hershey Bars clear, what's happening is lingering Crumbs ..lol.. Therefore taking 2 sometimes 3 Flushings is all..

there are little holes under the rim of the toilet sometimes they get clogged with calcium build up use a metal coat hanger to clean them out....you can also shut the water off empty the tank and pour clr or vinegar in the hole between the tank and bowl start there then see if your moving parts are worn ….can never hurt to clean those jets....
