I have a glow worm 30cxi boiler and
its timer is like a clock in 24 hour
format . its not digital you have to turn
the clock onto which hour it is.
Next to the timer is a little plastic
switch which can be switched onto
three things . I think one of for off, the
other for on and the other for timer . I
have no idea which one us which and
how to correctly set the timer .
here is what it looks like : http:/ /

Top Position or 'I' - Always on, depending on thermostat

Middle Position - Running on timer

Bottom Position or 'O' - Off

If you want the timer to run then select the middle position and the times you want it fire up, at these times the boiler wakes up and thinks 'whats the thermostat say' if the thermostat is warm enough it does nothing, if it isn't hot enough then it fires up the boiler.

I THINK - if the segments are pushed in towards the centre i THINK these are the on times, if they are on the outside this is off
