Is there a way to temporarily place a toilet flange so I can install and use the toilet but also be able to remove it when our flooring comes in?
I guess I'm asking if I can use caulking, dope or similar to temporarily seal the flange so that I don't have to glue the flange to the drain pipe.
I have two flanges available to me: one fits inside of the drain pipe and the other outside.
If I glue the flange in, as is proper, I don't think I will have enough pipe left to cut off the flange and install a new one with the new flooring. That means I will have to re-plumb from the stack up.
The obvious solution is to wait on the flooring but I was wondering...
