I’m unsure if this is a problem or not, but I have a constant flow of water from around the perimeter of one of the pvc pipes that enters the sump pump crock in my basement. The water isn’t draining from the actual pipe, but from a gap around the perimeter of the pipe. My builder said this is normal. I’m curious if it is or not. I’m trying to figure out how to post the video of it that i made. Thanks.

sounds like a ground water issue do you have a perimeter drain, have you gotten a lot of rain......melting snow??????

if you look were your sump pump is,is there a pipe entering the pit or just the pump

are your down spouts draining away from the house, are your gutters clean....these things are not plumbing related but will definatley cause water issues

just watched your video were does that white pipe come from there isn't much water coming from it
I'm thinking that pipe is clogged or broken more likely clogged

find out where that white pipe starts/when you say constant flow have you check you water meter to se if
its moving without any fixtures bein used???

It comes from under my basement floor. All of this is less than a year old, I just had my house built.
