Attempted to remove the sillcock. It did not turn, but it did twist up to 180 degrees before I backed off. The entire pipe is encased in a wall, so I cannot see the joint. Is it likely soldered? The house was built in 1995--not sure what the installation techniques were back then. If it is soldered, could I cut the pipe in the basement, attach some PEX tubing to it where I last see it and then pull it through like phishing a wire? I estimate it to be about a 13 foot run in the wall. If not, what are my options? Would you just keep trying to crank on it to see if it breaks loose or would you assume it is soldered and do something different?
