Not so long ago, I had to manually pump my septic out. On the last pump (I was pumping for 1 1/2 minute, no longer) I apparently pumped too much effluent out, as I could tell by the pump sound, that it sucked some air in.
Now tank is full enough to cover pump half way. But when I turn the switch on, pump does not pump in continuous action, not sure how to describe this, it sort of cycling. Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh... There is a peep hole in the discharge pipe from the pump to the leach field, before, it used to produce steady stream of water while pumping, now it's short bursts.

Suggestions? I can easily pull pump out, no big deal. But what to look for? Almost like it got air bubble inside, or something.
