I’m trying to partially disassemble this single handle tub faucet so I can get at the anti scald device. There’s not enough hot water in the mix. I uploaded 2 pics. Any idea how to get the circled piece loose? I don’t see any more set screws. It doesn’t seem to turn clockwise or counterclockwise. I’m not sure if it’s the black rubber gasket in the back holding it in place but it seems too rigid to get behind it with anything to pull it off. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

it might be all one piece.....the trim plate may just snap onto the valve body I don't see any screws for that either looks like you may have to take off the diverter knob

Yep, not having any luck with this bugger. Attached the parts diagram to see if it might give any other ideas.
