Looks like Price Pfister Avante.
Great valve. have the same in my shower. 20+ yrs and I have never replaced the cartridge.
Does the old trim and handle look like this?
If you remodeled the bathroom did you use the old shower faucet? If you threw the trim and handle away what are you going to do about that? If you replaced the faucet and need an extension what brand did you put in?
I am replacing a very old shower/tub handle, and also put up new tile. With the new tile and backer board the handle doesn't reach the valve. Anyone know what extension would fit on this valve pictured?
Now the second question after searching around, I need an extension kit since the valve is too far behind the tile/backer board. What exactly do I need for that?
I have never seen an extension for that valve stem.
Story time.
Had a customer who bought an old house and dumped a ton of money into it .
new tile floors, new kitchen cabinets , sinks, toilets. looked nice.
New tile in 2 bathrooms. left the old 100 year old 2 handle valves.
Then he wanted me to fix the drip. They were beyond repair.
Had to open the tile and put in 2 new Moen Positemp valves.
Look for some trim that might be concaved, where the face of the plate does into the finished wall. Moen has some. maybe you can modify it to fit.
