I have a shower pan that I have already done the mortar bed... I used Custom's Bedding Mortar. HD guy recommended it. I was expecting it to be like Dry Pack - it was not. Lesson learned.
Anyway, because I wasn't as prepared for a more liquidy mixture, I didn't do the greatest job with the slope. I have a level spot around part of the drain - it's only about 2 sq ft on one side of the drain, but I really want there to be no draining issues. What product can I use on top of the mortar bed to slope that out a bit? I've read that thinset is a bad idea for this.
Thanks for your help!
