Good morning,

I have a tank system that cools machinery. Water is pumped through heat exchangers and cools the machine. When the pump is turned on Monday morning the whole system shakes. How do I stop that from happening?

Thank you for your help,

Karl

insulation under the pipes, with saddles, and unistrut clamps . longer rods. lateral bracing pics-14.jpg

the lateral bracing and will stop the sway, the insulation under the pipes will stop transfer pump noise to structure,

also, is pump pad isolated? flex connections on piping attached to pumps ?

I am not an engineer, but have seen this method work . n.gif

next time a electrician tries to "piggy back" on your unistrut, throw his pipe on the floor!
tell him to put up his own hangers!! I hate that ;)
