For all you 'Master Plumbers' out there. Anytime a storm sewer, storm drian and or a sump pump overflow causing interior water damage to one of your clients homes, then make sure they have the backup of drains endorsement or sump pump overflow endorsement. This type of water damage is specifically excluded in all homeowner insurance policies.
Depending on the homoewner's insurance company that they are insured with will depend whether or not they can get the proper endorsements availablity.
Some endorsements offer $5,000.00 worth of coverage and then there are others that offer $20,000.00.
