Hi, my lower bathroom has a pump up automatic sewage pump that kicks in every 2 hours. (not consistent )or so when bathroom not in use, flapper dousnt appear to be leaking.any suggestions ? Thx.

Is the pump pumping up a distance before dumping into a gravity line?
For example, if the pumps discharge line has enough liquid in it, which is being held back a check valve, and the check valve is not holding, it's possible that the volume that is typically in the discharge pipe is leaking back slowly and causing the pump to pump it again and again.

do you have a dehumidifier or a condensate drain ??????shut the water off to all the fixtures you think drain into it and see what happens....if you have to shut off the water to the whole house if you need to
