I have a question about an eroding tank. I am not sure what size it is or anything like that. The house is a 1300 sq. Ft. House with 3 bedrooms. The tank is either concrete or steel, I'm not sure. There has been no problems with back up or leach field that I have noticed but it looks like the tank is falling apart to me. Take a look at these photos and let me know your opinion. You can clearly see that the riser is cracked and is falling apart. Also, the baffle has eroded and the top of the tank looks to be eroding also. The house was built in 1976 and I have only lived here for 6 years. I was hoping the riser only needed replaced but I'm sure that's not gonna end up the case. I was thinking a out having a professional look at it and give me an opinion. Thanks for any imput.
