Title says it all - I want to replace a failed low pressure switch (Trane SWT03157) on this heat pump, but am not sure if the fittings have Schrader valves on them. Does anyone know? I also got a high side switch while I'm in there.

I can't find this information online anywhere, some systems supposedly have them, some require pulling vacuum.

You have to be a certified refrigeration technician to work on lines with refirgerant.

Thanks, didn't know that. How does one go about getting certified?

Also, is this a state/local code, or national?
