Not sure if this is right venue but it is a plumbing issue. I have a sprinkler system that needs 3 valves in a ground box replaced. It is plumbed with pex and then coupled to PVC pipe into the valve bodies. Valves are rainbird 100DV. I have never worked with PEX before but everybody says it is easy. my experience is that plumbing jobs are easy until things don't go right. I thinking I could cut the compression rings on Pex and then cut PVC tubing on in/out of valves with sazawl. Reinstall pvc in new valves and install couplers to pex and recrimp pex. Tell me if this sounds to good to be true. Anyone worked with in ground sprinklers?
