Hello once again. Before I ask my question I wanted to thank everyone that answered my questions in my previous thread.

I now got my cast iron out and I am planning how to run a new main stack in PVC. My question is, should I keep the same pipe layout or change it?

Also, for joining the vertical main stack to horizontal run off, is there an optimal fitting, like a long bend, or a long bend wye so that waste gradually turns? Thanks once again!

that 90. needs to be a sweep.

horizontal to vertical you can use a 1/4 bend [short sweep]
vertical to horizontal you use a long sweep

but. if i were you, I would use a combination with a clean out. never can have to many clean outs

Got it! Also, my main stack will need to get offset a little. It comes down from exterior wall to the basement and has to clear the cinder block foundation. I would say no more than a foot. Previously, they had a long sweep going to the side. Would I be OK to use 2 45's fittings and then drop it down? Thanks!
