I bought this shower pan for our bathroom remodel which will start tomorrow.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079M165YZ/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20

What I didn't realize when I bought it is that it comes with a white pvc drain and cover. It looks horrible and I want to replace it with a chrome drain cover.

Going back and looking at the reviews someone posted about this issue and he said he couldn't find a replacement that would fit and the company was no help when he contacted them. I find it hard to believe that there is no replacement out there to swap out the pvc cover.

Does anyone have experience with this issue?

Thanks in advance

Not knowing the dimensions of the supplied drain, you think it is possible to fit a full Oatey drain assembly into the hole?

It's a 3 inch drain hole and I bought an Oakey replacement drain with cover but it's just slightly wider and won't screw into the drain.
