Does anyone have any experience removing and completely capping off a bidet? I have one that I really need to get rid of and was wondering if it's a complicated job. Would really like to do it myself if possible. I will be replacing the bathroom floor afterwards so that won't be a problem, but I have to make sure this is done right.

The bidets that I am familiar with have an 1 1/2" riser for the drain. Cutting this down and capping it with an 1 1/2" pressure cap will ensure that nothing ever comes to visit you from the drain. If you can access the trap arm serving the bidet, cutting it off and capping it right by the main drain is even better. Cutting off and capping the supply lines should suffice for that part of it.

I think you got some good advice. How long between you being able to attempt the fix and closing off access by replacing the floors? More time the better, just in case.
