Quick Help About Sewer Video

I am selling a house. There is a basement bathroom that I didn't put in. The inspector hired by the seller shot this video and says that when the bath was put in, the installer "stabbed" the sewer line. I need an expert opinion on this video. Is there a saddle or fitting that would look like this from the inside? I don't want to dig it up and find that it was done correctly.
BTW, I am investigating to see who did the work and if permits were pulled. An elderly man had the work done.

There is no fitting that would allow the branch to extend into the main line. It is something that should be corrected.

That connection should have been made with a combination wye and 1/8 bend, cut into the cast iron line, using transition bands.
