I have some 1 inch PEX-A expansion coming into a pre-filter > Whole house filter > Water softener > sediment Filter > House and I would like to monitor pressure on incoming and outgoing side, partially so I can see how much all of these filters are affecting my pressure, but also to watch for when filters should be replaced (they become too clogged up). I have spent nearly an hour trying to find a SIMPLE way to get a pressure gauge on 1 inch PEX-A. Any suggestions? Ideally I'd like a PEX-A tee 1 inch, with 1/4 inch NPT to add a gauge to. I cannot find anything like this. Anyone have suggestions?

Also, stupid question, but will the pressure read accurately on both sides of the fixtures like this even if there is no current flow in the plumbing, or will you have to have the water flowing to read pressure? Thanks

You could go 1"x1/2" tee, 1/2" female, 1/2"x1/4" bushing, pressure gage.
