Someone just suggested I use PPR pipe for my solar hot water piping, as he saw how much copper I'm using, but I hadn't heard of it before. Supposedly it's good for 70C, which is 158F, for 50 years, and is joined with a special welding/fusing/melting machine.
Too late now, as I've already bought the copper, but is that something anyone has experience with? I'm going to have to insulate the copper as a separate step, and I might not have to insulate PPR (or CPVC, but that's a whole 'nother question...)
Thanks!
