Please help..diverter

I have low hot water pressure so I tried taking the diverter off to no avail. Tried wiggling and pulling straight off. Nothing. The washers right in front were all rotted. I can't get the new washers without knowing the part number or having the diverter to take to the store...

You're going to have the same problem here, unless you post a picture or 2.

The diverter is leaking when I turn the water on. It's coming straight out.

Post pictures of what you're referring to as the diverter, there's more than one kind. I assume you are talking about the tub spout diverter?
