Hey guys,
Can someone identify the plastic unions and rings used for a PEX plumbing system? It is a fairly new install, was built in NY state in fall 2021.
Thanks!
Alex

Expansion pex A F1960 fittings.

It shouldn’t be sitting on that metal unless it’s isolated from it. Put some insulation over the pipe.

You can use crimp fittings with your pipe. F1807 fittings and the various crimp/clamp methods.

Thanks! I was considering plastic fittings only for a sprinkler system, and using brass with PEX, but it seems widely used for a potable water those days.

It would be easier for you to use the crimp style fittings and copper crimp rings. You could also use the stainless cinch clamps but I don’t care for those as much as I do the copper crimp rings.

The crimp fittings also come in plastic or brass.
