I am curious here, if I were to install a sink outdoors in a freeze zone how would I run the water line up. Lets assume I have a PVC or copper line 48" below the surface how would I come up with it so as to not have any lines burst?

I can think of 2 things, though it may not work.

1) Wrap heat tape around the pipes and then insulate them.
2)Build a box around both pipes and fill it with insulation?

I've seen a couple house trailers that are set up like 1 and have been like that for years. I don't know what to do about the faucet ends or the first couple feet in the ground...

Considering it is expected to be in excess of 100 degrees today, it is hard to think about freezing pipes!
