Not sure how to remove this kitchen faucet

Hi There,

My kitchen faucet is leaking water from the hose linking the control with the spout - only when the control is turned on. The incoming supply hoses to the control are not leaking. I'm not sure of the brand of the faucet - its about 15 years old and the brand is hard to read. I've added a pic as attachment.

The leak seems to be coming from hose-control connection right where it joins the control. There is a white plastic nut assembly around the hose which I can rotate but it does not seem to tighten the connection at all.

What I'd like to be able to do is remove the control with all the hoses still connected so I can see better what's happening but I'm not sure how to do this. The control seems to be held in place with a metal bracket which I think is secured with a screw. I've tried turning the screw but it does not want to budge.
